Private Boxing Training – Calgary

Whether you are looking to improve your physical and mental fitness or to accelerate technical boxing skills, we can help you with 1:1 or small group private boxing training.  We provide clients with the insight and opportunity to grow using conditioning and techniques from the sport as the conduit to fitness and boxing skill development. You will learn in a safe manner that permits you to express yourself physically and mentally, like never before.  Open to all ages!

Our minds and bodies work differently from individual to individual, private training with Grizzly Boxing & Fitness provides an optimum environment for your specific goals to be met. If you do your own fitness training or play another sport already, you may prefer to spend your time solely on technical development, we will structure it accordingly.  Our technical trainers each have more than 30 years of competitive boxing involvement.

If you have not been physically active or never played any sports we will begin right where you are at.  There is NO need to think “well I will wait until I am in shape before I start…”.  All training starts at Grizzly are safe and gradual and will meet you where you are at upon entering.

Our boxing coaches are former competitors themselves and are currently coaching boxing at the competitive level.  Private boxing will be exhausting physically and mentally but it is filled with exciting new learning and laughter too.

PRICING:  $80 each when purchasing a package of 6 (60 minute) private sessions

$100 each when purchasing a single private session (60 minutes)

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be in top physical condition to get started? No, we start where you are at with your individual fitness level upon arriving and encourage gradual growth. Our group classes are designed using intensity and time as the measure. This means you will be doing the same quality exercise as your classmates but you do not need to perform the same quantity. We want to see you learning proper form at the beginning then transition to expect higher quantity as you grow in your overall fitness.

Do I require any prior martial arts, boxing or sports experience to participate? No.

What should I bring with me to class? Please wear comfortable, flexible workout wear. Indoor runners are required – no exceptions. Please bring along a full water bottle. We are no longer able to lend or share equipment due to COVID – 19 safety measures. For your initial TRIAL INTRO to Boxing you do not need any boxing equipment. If you decide to join with a membership you will need boxing gloves, jump rope and hand wraps we can assist with these items. Should you optionally pursue sparring as you develop, we would prepare you for a protective boxing equipment upgrade.

Is there free parking? Yes.

Are there locker rooms? Yes, but you are also welcome to arrive in your workout wear ready to train.

Is there a Weights/Cardio Room at the club? Yes
