6 Week Boxing Camp – Starts January 2025
I have prior boxing experience and want to register, will I be able to spar?
Yes, with demonstrated skill and experience as well as full protective equipment, CABA Registration and direct supervision.
PRICING & REGISTRATION: What does the camp cost and how do I register?
$220 plus gst, this includes the full boxing camp training and your Grizzly Challenge T-Shirt. Register today using the green button at the bottom of this page.
When is the deadline for registration and what are the dates of the camp?
January 15th, 2025 is the DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION. The camp starts on Monday January 20th, 2025 and runs until February 27th.
What equipment will I need for the camp?
INDOOR runners mandatory, full water bottle, small personal towel, boxing hand wraps, mouth guard, boxing training gloves, spar gloves (optional). The cost for training gloves, wraps and mouth guard is $120 plus gst and can be purchased at the club.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Yes, but be prepared for visual inspection for safety purposes.
Who is leading the camp?
A team of nationally certified boxing coaches (NCCP).
How long has Grizzly Boxing Club been established and involved in Canadian Boxing Competition?
Since 2012
What are the sponsorships?
Gold level – Annual Membership (value $1,600), Silver Level – 6 Month Membership plus a Spar Package (value $1,100) & Bronze Level – Sparring Package (value $375)
What is the time commitment?
Camp starts on Monday January 20th, 2025 and runs until February 27th. There are 3 formal training sessions per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Additionally you will be expected to work on your own individual development, the amount of time is up to you there are daily open gym times from 5:30 pm through the evenings. You will have unlimited OPEN GYM ACCESS for 6 days per week to our 7,000 sq ft facility during the camp.
How and when are the sponsorships awarded?
On the last day of the camp the coaching team will present the sponsorships based on the following criteria: attendance, demonstrated dedication and drive to improve fitness and skills, sports positive attitude.
What happens if I start in the camp but do not want to continue for any reason?
Not to worry, you will automatically be transferred to an unlimited club membership instead granting you full access to instructor led classes as well as open gym access.
